What is the cost of a complete website?

Do I need my own domain name and paid web hosting?

The answer is absolutely yes.
If you are serious about your website it is a must for you to have your own unique domain name and paid web hosting.
The cost of a domain name plus web hosting is less than $100/year.
If you wish, Erling Nielsen can assist you in finding the right domain name and the right web hosting company.

My existing website is old and not updated at all, what do you suggest?

Often it is a better solution to produce a new website from scratch instead of trying to repair/update an old, outdated website. Web techniques change to the better all the time, and the chances are that your old website does not live up to the web standards of today.
An example: modern websites do not use tables for layout, but a technique called CSS - Cascading Style Sheets. This makes the design very flexible and the daily maintenance and future development of the website so much easier.

What about logo, graphics, photos and text for my new website?

You are most welcome to deliver you own material to be used on your new website. However please notice that graphics and photos most of the time need to be optimized for use on a website.

My new website is up and running, what about future maintenance?

Erling Nielsen can act as your webmaster and update and maintain your website on a regular basis. If you wish to take care of the regular updating yourself, the solution is a Content Management System - CMS.
